Have you been looking for an effective and sanitary method of pet waste disposal for your dog? The Powerloo is a sanitary method of disposal with just one simple flush. If you are worried about the health risks that may be caused by the presence of your pet, the Powerloo can help to reduce those risks through safe and sanitary waste disposal.

Tape worms, round worms, whip and heart worms can infect dogs over the course of their lives, risking their health and potentially risking yours. These parasites can be passed along to humans through fecal contamination, causing mild to serious illnesses. These illnesses, called zoonotic infections, are more common than you may think. They are mainly caused through ingestion of dog feces. Not a pretty image, correct? Having a clean way of disposing of your dog's waste would decrease the risk of zoonotic infections greatly. Feces that are on the ground can end up on our shoes, and possibly in our systems. The EPA and CDC recommend flushing as the best way to manage dog waste, and it is also recommended most by vets.

For effective pet waste disposal, you need the Powerloo. Not only will you not have to worry about those plastic bags any more, you'll also have an odor-free buiness or home. We offer free consultations, so call us today for more information!

HOOKWORMS

A human foot infected with hook worm

Humans become infected with hookworm through direct ingestion or the larva penetrating the skin.  It produces very itchy rashes.  If the larva gets inside organs it cause more serious gastrointestinal and other symptoms. The most significant risk of hookworm infection is anemia, secondary to loss of iron (and protein) in the gut, and left untreated can lead to death in young puppies.

ROUNDWORMS

Almost all puppies are born with roundworm contracted from their mothers.  The worm's eggs live in the stool and can be transmitted to people through fecal contamination. Roundworms generally cause a mild intestinal illness, but can be more serious if they migrate to internal organs.  Good sanitation is essential in preventing transmission of roundworm.

Protozoa that causes Giardia

GIARDIASIS

Giardia is a very common intestinal infection caused by a protozoa that is easily spread to humans through feces and fecal contaminated soil.  Both humans and dogs suffer a variety of intestinal symptoms including diarrhea, greasy stools, severe stomach cramps, and nausea.  Sometimes the illness becomes systemic and causes flu-like symptoms, muscle aches, malaise and fever.

CAMPYLOBACTER ENTERITIS

Campylobacter enteritis

Campylobacter is passed along to humans through fecal contact and causes nausea, abdominal cramping and diarrhea that can be severe and last for months.  Some dogs are just carriers of the bacteria and do not show any signs of infection.
