Curt R. Fournier is an experienced entrepreneur. He propelled his financial consulting firm, and his loan processing company, to outstanding and highly successful enterprises.
In 2006, Curt and his partner, Vicki Januszewski, founded Greendog, LLC, an innovative Michigan company whose first marketed product, the PowerLoo, is a revolutionary invention that is taking both national and global pet industry markets by storm. The PowerLoo is an outdoor, flushable toilet for the safe and sanitary management of dog waste. It is a simple and effective solution to a problem that has grown exponentially over the last several decades as dog ownership has increased. The invention is an engineering accomplishment incorporating proprietary materials and clever design to make it convenient to use and environmentally responsible. Curt has guided the company from inception through development, production and marketing.
Curt grew up in Michigan where his inventive intellect and avid interest in sports honed persistence, determination, discipline and a strong belief in himself. Before graduating from high school, he opened his first business, a successful retail store, and soon there after a trendy cafe.
Curt envisions and creates opportunities and has the uncommon ability to see obstacles and challenges as possibilities for growth, ingenuity and invention. It is this combination of attributes that saw him through the toughest trial of his young life. Diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2006, Curt confronted this disease with tenacity, courage and a high school wrestler's determination to beat his opponent. With the unwavering support of family and friends, and the expertise of physicians he took on the cancer and won the battle. The experience left him stronger, more focused and with a renewed energy for life.
He has a passion for giving back to the community as well. Curt works with local educators to visit classrooms and teach young people that they can have a positive effect on the environment and impact the world for years to come by becoming more aware of their surroundings and what they contribute.
Curt resides with Vicki, their two dogs and two cats in a beautiful forested lake community in Fenton, Michigan.
Frustrated with the available methods of disposing of the solid waste of her large dogs, Victoria Fournier originated the idea of an outdoor toilet that would flush the deposits into the sewer system and thus prevent waste from contaminating waterways and overwhelming landfills. Hand-in-hand with Curt and Victoria worked on the invention, design and development of the Green Dog toilet system.
Inventing a new product requires relentless research. Victoria's imagination, vision and pragmatism is essential in the formation and evolution of the Green Dog company and its continued progress.
Victoria has had an ardent interest in animals and nature since childhood. It has been her dream to meld these two passions into a career that benefited animals and humans, and had a positive and lasting effect on the environment.
"Our Powerloo has made our lives so much easier, we have a chocolate lab, Duke, and just adopted a St. Bernard, Daisy. We dont know how we would manage without it!"

"We've had one for about six months now, and LOVE it. We have three dogs in a smallish yard who were generating a lot of poop. Weekly cleanings...
I cannot even imagine having a doggy day care without a Powerloo…
